GLOBAL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF PRO-AM, PLANS SUPER BOWL SHOWCASE

Las Vegas, NV – June 27, 2025 – The Global Flag Football League (GFFL) today announced the cancellation of its inaugural GFFL Vegas Pro - AM 2025 tournament, which had been rescheduled for August 6–15, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the GFFL remains committed to advancing the sport of flag football and providing professional opportunities for athletes, the organization has decided to pivot its immediate plans.

"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the GFFL Vegas Pro - AM 2025," said Patrick Johnson, President of the GFFL. "We appreciate the enthusiasm and interest from athletes who registered through the ALL22 Global Scouting International Scouting Platform. We remain dedicated to our mission of creating a premier platform for elite flag football talent."

In place of the Pro - AM tournament, the GFFL is excited to announce plans for a two showcase games to be held during Super Bowl LIX week in 2026. These all-star-format games will feature men and women representing every team in the league, highlighting the best talent from across the GFFL. Further details, including game schedules, location, and selection criteria, will be released in the coming months.

The GFFL will continue its partnership with ALL22 International Scouting to identify and connect with top-tier talent. Athletes who have already created a free player profile and completed the player information platform on ALL22 will remain in the scouting database for future opportunities, including the upcoming Super Bowl week showcase.

"The Super Bowl week provides an unparalleled stage to highlight the incredible skill and athleticism within our sport."
